GENECMT: Log-linear analysis of case-parent-triad data

Description: genecmt computes the log-linear models described by Weinberg et al.  for the analysis of genetic data from triads composed of affected probands and their parents. These models allow the detection of and discrimination between effects of an inherited genotype and effects of the maternal genotype, which presumably would be mediated by prenatal factors. Like the transmission disequilibrium test (TDT), the likelihood-ratio tests (LRT) based on these model is not sensitive to population stratification or admixture.

If data on parents is missing from some of the triads, genecmt by default uses an Expectation- Maximization (EM) Algorithm to complete the missing data.

This implementation is intended for use only on data from bi-allelic loci.
